This article explains the requirements and steps necessary to renew a Missouri real estate agent license.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/geS7BhEBovo\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Real Estate License Renewal Requirements and Fees<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Below are the requirements for Missouri Real Estate Salespersons:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>12 Hours of Continuing education must be completed in 2020 by October 31. (August 31 for Brokers)<\/li>\n<li>Three of the 12 hours must be a CORE topic. In 2020 the CORE topic is Ethics.<\/li>\n<li>12 hours can be completed in approximately 12 hours.<\/li>\n<li>All continuing ed credits must be completed on or before your renewal deadline.<\/li>\n<li>There is a $40 renewal fee for both active and inactive salespersons ($50 for brokers).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>How Do I Renew My Missouri Real Estate Agent License?<\/h2>\n<p>Upon completing the required 12 credit hours of continuing education, agents can renew their real estate license in either of the following two ways.<\/p>\n<h4>If renewing online:<\/h4>\n<p>All Missouri Real Estate schools have 10 days to submit students completed course credits. Once the school submits credits, the state takes up to 24 hours to enter the credits in to their system. Only once the credits are in the state system, then an agent can renew their license online.<\/p>\n<h4>Renewing via snail mail:<\/h4>\n<p>This is the simpler option. Upon completing the 12 credit hours, fill out the renewal form and mail it back to the Missouri Real Estate Commission. Schools are individually approved and so are individual courses. Each course should display its MREC approval number.<\/p>\n<h2>Can I complete Missouri real estate continuing education online?<\/h2>\n<p>Yes!
