Missouri’s new MOPRO portal is having challenges – a note from the Real Estate Commission
Below is a note that went out to all MO real estate school/providers in August 2026:
Good morning,
As we are still in the thick of renewals I wanted to take a moment to give an update and reminder regarding Continuing Education and its uploads. While the Commission is aware of the ongoing and continuing issues surrounding CE uploads, I would like to reiterate that we have multiple tickets in with the development team and our IT team. Although we have made developers aware of the situation at hand, they also have 40 other boards that use MOPRO as well. We have no control over which tickets are processed first, or the turnaround time on issues when they present themselves. While I understand it is difficult to not have a resolution or end date in sight, we have been very clear and open since beginning of renewals surrounding these issues.
I have sent multiple emails since March letting all schools know what is going on, as well as there being a disclaimer on our website so that licensees are aware of the issue as well. These issues do not prohibit licensees from renewing their license. If a licensee goes to renew and notices that not all their hours are reflecting on their account, they need to attach course completion certificate copies to their renewal either online or mailed in with their paper application. Licensees should not be emailing their certificates to the Commission or mailing them in for documentation purposes unless it is with their renewal form. As for next steps, please continue to upload your rosters as normal, and with the following proper naming convention: MREC_<School ID>_<Course ID>_<MMDDYYYY>.CSV.
Once the issue is resolved and the growing pains of using a new system hopefully subside, our team will run a sweep of all uploads made to get them added to student’s accounts. I will continue to do my best to advise and answer any questions you may have, but during this time I do not have an end date for when this will be resolved.
