2024 Missouri Real Estate Continuing Education Requirements – Current 2024-2026 Renewal Cycle

This article was posted in April 2024 with the latest information available. The current renewal cycle that Missouri real estate licensees are completing continuing education for is the 2024-2026 period.

MO Real Estate Continuing Ed Requirements

Consistent with prior renewal cycles, The Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC) requires Brokers and Salespersons to complete 12 hours of continuing education credits during the two year period. Missouri real estate licenses get renewed on even numbered years for periods of two years.

At least three of the 12 credits must be a CORE course and if only one CORE course is completed, it must be on the topic of Fair Housing as that is the current mandatory topic. MREC approves all courses for credit and there are additional topics that have been approved as CORE. Again, at a minimum every licensee must complete at least three CORE hours of continuing education on the topic of Fair Housing.

You can complete more than three CORE credits, but you cannot complete less. The remaining nine credits can be comprised of courses approved as Elective or CORE.

Keep Me Certified is an online real estate school approved by The Missouri Real Estate Commission to offer the CORE and Elective credits licensees need to satisfy the education requirement to renew their real estate license.
