How To Contact NY DOS Real Estate Department And Other Helpful Links
As a New York real estate school, we frequently get asked how to contact the NY DOS. Some refer to it as the Real Estate Commission, others refer to it as the Real Estate Department, but officially it is the NY Department of State. Most answers to licensee questions are already answered on the DOS website (links below), so be sure to check there first. It may be more efficient than waiting on hold. For help with renewing your real estate license online via New York’s elicense portal or general information, call the NY DOS customer support number at (518) 474-4429. We recommend calling first thing in the morning before “the line” gets too long.
