How to Renew a Missouri Real Estate License in 2022
Renewing a Missouri real estate license in 2022 is easier, more affordable, and more enjoyable than it’s ever been. In this post we outline the education requirements Missouri Brokers and Agents need to complete before their June 30, 2022 (broker deadline) and September 30, 2022 (agent deadline).
MO CE Requirements Overview
Every two years, Missouri real estate brokers and agents need to complete 12 credit hours of continuing education. At least three (3) of the twelve (12) hours of approved instruction shall be taken in a course approved by the Missouri Real Estate Commission as CORE credit.
Continuing education credit hours can be completed live in a physical classroom, live online (ie Zoom) or a-synchronously (on-demand) at any time during the two year renewal cycle. Most licensees typically wait until the last few weeks and months leading up to their renewal deadline, but credits can be completed at any time during the two year cycle. Any extra credits that are completed cannot be applied to the next renewal cycle. The full list of continuing education requirements can be found on the Missouri Real Estate Commission website, here.
